THE NEED:
Couche-Tard, Canada's third-largest retailer with more than 5,000 outlets, sought financing for it's acquisition of Circle K, the largest acquisition in the company's history.
THE SOLUTION:
In September 2004, Skyline Pacific Properties, along with it's joint-venture partner, Fortress Investements, completed a $152 Million sale-leaseback with Couche-Tard. The transaction consisted of 202 properties throughout the country. Upon close of escrow, Skyline and Couche-Tard executed new long-term leases for each location. The transaction closed on time.
